The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Garnett looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carter lands a right hook to the body.
No luck for Garnett with that takedown attempt.
Garnett lands a nice leg kick that just misses Carter's sensitive parts.
Garnett throws a right hand that Carter ducks under and follows up with a left that Carter also avoids with ease.
Garnett shoots in for a double leg but Carter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Garnett shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carter defends it nicely.
Samuel Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Garnett.
Carter throws a head kick but Garnett moves out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carter lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Kevin Garnett has been cut.
Garnett shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Garnett takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Carter misses with a double jab.
Carter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Garnett counters with a shoot takedown. Carter fights it but they end up in guard.
Carter is looking for a triangle but Garnett pushes his legs off easily.
