Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pepito Manaloto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pepito Manaloto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Scott! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manaloto thuds his shin into the meat of Scott's side. Manaloto chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Manaloto wants to clinch. Manaloto fails in his attempt to clinch. Manaloto tries to clinch up but Scott circles away and keeps his distance. Manaloto throws a head kick that misses. Scott dives in and grabs Manaloto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Manaloto pushes down on Scott's head and hops out. Manaloto lands a head kick. Scott smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Michael Scott has been cut. Manaloto tries a head kick but it misses.
Manaloto tries to clinch up but Scott circles away and keeps his distance. Scott throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Manaloto's waist but Manaloto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scott off to one side. Manaloto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Scott swats him away and circles back towards the center. Manaloto misses with a head kick.
Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Manaloto looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Scott thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Manaloto gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Scott looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Scott jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Manaloto is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Manaloto and Scott has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Scott is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Manaloto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Scott misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Scott goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Manaloto rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Scott's guard! Nice work there by Manaloto! Manaloto throwing strikes from guard but Scott blocks nicely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Manaloto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Manaloto got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Manaloto has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Manaloto's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott is trying to keep Manaloto in close.
Manaloto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Manaloto keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Scott's head. Scott is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Scott wants to lay and pray for a moment but Manaloto keeps working. Scott is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Manaloto sees it coming and defends easily. Scott stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Manaloto avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scott. Scott wants to free his trapped foot but Manaloto is holding on for dear life with his legs. Scott working the head and body with strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Manaloto won't allow Scott to pass to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pepito Manaloto dominated that round. The cut man is working on Michael Scott's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Scott shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Manaloto napping and manages to drive through into side control! Scott is looking to take a break and control but Manaloto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Scott in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott works to advance to full mount. Manaloto defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Scott sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Scott has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Scott thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Scott is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Manaloto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Scott looking for a guillotine from mount but Manaloto is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manaloto is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Scott is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Manaloto to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Manaloto shrugs it off. Scott wants to control the pace but Manaloto is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Manaloto manages to avoid the submission attempt. Scott working the ground and pound. Manaloto takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Scott advances nicely into full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott looking to control but Manaloto is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Scott raining down shots from the mount! Scott dominating with strikes here. Scott punching from mount but Manaloto doing a good job of avoiding damage. Scott trying to control but Manaloto is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Michael Scott's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Manaloto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Scott throwing strikes from guard but Manaloto blocks nicely. Scott pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Manaloto is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott's corner is telling him to maintain position. Manaloto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scott on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott wants to control from the top but Manaloto keeps moving. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Scott with a flurry of punches that miss. Scott stands and throws Manaloto's legs to the side, diving into side control. Scott trying to control the position but Manaloto is working away. Scott works to advance to full mount. Manaloto defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Scott unloading with bombs! Scott looking to control and managing it successfully. Scott is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Manaloto is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Manaloto flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Scott anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Manaloto and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Scott slips an arm under Manaloto chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Scott has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Scott is squeezing on Manaloto like an anaconda would it's prey. Manaloto fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Michael Scott!
