Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vic Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "I Got A Feeling" by Black Eyed Peas. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Stone is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fisher has managed to free his arm - good work. Fisher wants to get back to his feet. Fisher works his way to full guard. Good work. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fisher is keeping the position for now. Stone preventing the sweep. Stone looking to pass the guard. Fisher working a defensive guard here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fisher as he jumps to the side. Fisher tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance. Fisher clinches up against the cage. Stone tries to pull guard but Fisher won't allow it.
Fisher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone checks a leg kick. Stone throws a combination. Fisher tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Stone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Fisher. No joy for Stone on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fisher tries to bum rush Stone with a series of wild strikes but Stone uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A punch combination from Fisher misses. Fisher wants to clinch up but Stone keeps it at a distance. Fisher scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Stone shoots in for a double leg but Fisher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stone is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fisher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fisher landing strikes from the mount and Stone is in trouble! Stone is wriggling around trying to escape.

Fisher lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Fisher controlling his opponent.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fisher is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Stone is surviving well by controlling Fisher's body position as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher controlling from mount. Stone tries to buck Fisher off but he can't manage it. Fisher looking to control and managing it successfully. Let's hope that Fisher has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stone is trying to reverse the position but instead Fisher has taken his back - oops! Fisher connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Stone to escape the position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Fisher's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
I really don't envy Stone right now.
Stone takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Fisher trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Stone doesn't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Fisher dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fisher tries to clinch but Stone is having none of it. Fisher clinches with his opponent.
Stone fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fisher breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone misses with a takedown and Stone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fisher clinches. Stone ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stone no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Fisher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Fisher doesn't manage to clinch there - Stone circles away.
Fisher fails in his attempt to clinch. Vic Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fisher throws a nice looking combination but Stone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fisher closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stone to the mat! Stone manages to get full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stone's head. Fisher pushing down on Stone's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Stone is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Fisher jumps into side control! Stone is not content to let Fisher control the position. Fisher is putting a hurting on Stone here, landing some big shots from side control. Fisher moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Stone tries to bench press Fisher off him but Fisher keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fisher stands up and beckons Stone to his feet. John Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fisher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fisher showed some decent athleticism there. Fisher wants to pass to mount but Stone is defending the position. Stone wants to get back to full guard but Fisher has mounted him! Stone really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher controlling his opponent. Stone is looking to get to half guard. Stone is working hard here to advance position. A nice elbow there by Fisher.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Stone wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone tries to roll but Fisher sticks to his back.
Stone has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Fisher tightening his grip on Stone, looking for the choke. Stone tries to break free.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fisher is riding his opponent, not letting Stone buck him off. Fisher lands strikes to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Fisher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Fisher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stone looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Fisher passes into half guard.
Stone has a hand on Fisher's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Fisher takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Fisher manages to capitalize on a mistake by Stone to take his back! Stone holding both Fisher 's hands and preventing any damage. Fisher controls the action. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Fisher is trying to stick to Stone's back but Stone is turning into Fisher. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fisher's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Stone. Stone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fisher is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fisher has escaped and now he's on top! Fisher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fisher doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fisher manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Vic Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy. Fisher wants to work for an arm triangle but Stone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stone wants to get back to his feet.
Fisher looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Stone looking for submissions from an awkward position here. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Stone looking for submissions off his back.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fisher throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stone was covering up waiting for the punch and Fisher finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fisher stands up from Stone's guard - Fisher perhaps looking for a knockout. John Fisher is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fisher is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! John Fisher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fisher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
