The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jones controlling the position from side mount.
Diagana is not content to let Jones control the position.
Diagana tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones wants to control but Diagana is keeping him busy.
Diagana wants to get back to his feet but Jones drags him back down.
Jones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
