Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boba Fettucini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuomas Uusierkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Uusierkki's choice of entrance music: Rob Zombie - Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy) . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tuomas Uusierkki! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uusierkki tries to clinch up but Fettucini circles away and keeps his distance. Fettucini doesn't manage to clinch there - Uusierkki circles away.
Uusierkki scores with a takedown into Fettucini's guard. Fettucini wants to sweep but no luck. Fettucini working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Uusierkki. Fettucini looking for subs off his back but Uusierkki has passed one foot through into half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Uusierkki stuffs the takedown attempt from Fettucini. Fettucini gets slowly back to his feet. Uusierkki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fettucini pulls his head out easily. Fettucini thows a huge punch but Uusierkki dodges it nicely.

Uusierkki tries to bench press Fettucini off him but Fettucini keeps the position. Fettucini is trying to ground and pound but Uusierkki uses the momentary lack of control by Fettucini to regain half guard. Fettucini is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fettucini is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Uusierkki is just riding it out for now. Fettucini eventually gives up the hold. Fettucini is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uusierkki is trying to maintain the position but Fettucini is very close to passing his half guard. Fettucini works his way into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fettucini working the body and head with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fettucini thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fettucini wants to control but Uusierkki is keeping him busy. That's one minute gone in the round. Fettucini keeping full guard, as Uusierkki tries to pass. Uusierkki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Uusierkki drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fettucini looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fettucini looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fettucini! Fettucini working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The ground and pound from Fettucini seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Fettucini is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Uusierkki is trying to escape and Fettucini transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Uusierkki is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fettucini! Very nice indeed!
