Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant shoots in looking for a takedown. Gapuz tries to sprawl out of it but Bryant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gapuz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gapuz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bryant is looking to stand up but Gapuz won't let him.
Gapuz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bryant tries to free his leg and advance position but Gapuz is retaining full guard.
Gapuz looking for a guillotine here but Bryant defends easily.
Gapuz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bryant is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gapuz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bryant's back instead.
Bryant is in bad spot here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gapuz patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Gapuz keeps control of the position as Bryant tries to break free.
Bryant manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gapuz's guard. Nice work there by Bryant.
Bryant loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bryant trying to control but Gapuz is working from the bottom.
Bryant advances to half guard.
Gapuz tries to roll over but Bryant keeps him under control.
Bryant frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gapuz tries to reverse the position but Bryant maintains control.
Gapuz is breathing heavily.
Bryant has hold of Gapuz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gapuz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gapuz is trying to escape the mount.
Gapuz slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Gapuz makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gapuz.
