Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Alcano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Seaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alcano kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Three Stars & A Sun. The crowd seem to be enjoying Seaver's choice of entrance music: Overkill - The Goal Is Your Soal. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Alcano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Seaver!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcano loads up on a big right hand but Seaver slips the punch.
Seaver stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Alcano.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Seaver, as that shot connected.
Seaver misses with a few strikes there.
John Seaver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Seaver throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Seaver throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alcano.
Alcano throws a combination that misses
and Seaver counters with a three punch combo that has Alcano backing up. Alcano nods at Seaver to acknowledge the strikes.
Seaver swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Alcano counters with a left to the body.
Seaver misses with a straight left.
Seaver misses with a double jab
and Alcano counters with a leg kick.
Seaver swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Alcano counters with a crisp one two that drops Seaver! Alcano thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Seaver to his feet! Seaver is in big trouble!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Alcano does no damage.
Seaver throws a body punch but Alcano moves out of range.
Seaver misses with a double jab
and Alcano counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Seaver throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Seaver throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Seaver throws a combination that misses
and Alcano counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Seaver looks gassed!
Seaver throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alcano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Alcano.
Seaver walks into a jab.
Alcano rushes Seaver with punches - Seaver moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Seaver goes down! Alcano follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Alcano!
