Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Kalcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCoy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Slipknot - Gematria kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Andy McCoy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy McCoy!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy wants to clinch.
McCoy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
McCoy tries to clinch but Kalcic is having none of it.
Kalcic closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kalcic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
McCoy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
McCoy is not content to let Kalcic control the position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
McCoy is refusing to be controlled, as Kalcic sits in half guard.
McCoy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
McCoy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kalcic lands a couple of digs.
Kalcic stopping the sweep attempt from McCoy.

Kalcic trying to control the position from guard on top but McCoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kalcic trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
McCoy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kalcic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kalcic sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McCoy's guard.
Kalcic working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kalcic trying to control the action but McCoy is working from the bottom.
Kalcic decides to stand up.
Kalcic closes this distance looking for a takedown but McCoy circles away.
McCoy fails with the takedown.
Kalcic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCoy's waist but McCoy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kalcic off to one side.

Kalcic on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McCoy. McCoy obviously looking to wear him down.
McCoy tries to clinch but Kalcic moves out of range.
Kalcic keeps the fight on the outside.
McCoy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kalcic shoots in and bounces McCoy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kalcic scoring with punches to the head and body.
Kalcic works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kalcic connects with a nice short shot to McCoy's temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kalcic is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kalcic is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
McCoy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kalcic gets full guard.
McCoy preventing the sweep.

Kalcic looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but McCoy puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Kalcic regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kalcic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCoy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kalcic looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McCoy's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kalcic looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kalcic manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kalcic is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, McCoy has managed to escape the submission attempt.
A nice elbow there by Kalcic.

McCoy defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Kalcic.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kalcic breaks from McCoy's wrist control and lands an elbow.
McCoy's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Kalcic is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Kalcic!
