The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalcic forces Zodd back against the cage and clinches.
Kalcic jumps guard but Zodd stands there with Kalcic around his waist. Kalcic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zodd prevents Kalcic from breaking the clinch.
Kalcic tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zodd wants a takedown but no success here.
Kalcic tries to land a knee to the head but Zodd blocks with his arms.
Kalcic softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Kalcic gets underhooks to prevent Zodd's takedown attempt.
Kalcic is working for takedown but Zodd is calmly controlling the position for now.

Kalcic tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zodd just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kalcic has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zodd is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Zodd has Kalcic pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Zodd pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kalcic tumbling to the mat - Zodd dives into Kalcic's guard.
Zodd is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Zodd should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Zodd wants to pass the guard but Kalcic is keeping the position.
Zodd is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kalcic fails with the takedown.
Zodd gets a takedown into half guard.
Zodd seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kalcic is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
