Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KJ Hoodwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoodwell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pinball. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, KJ Hoodwell!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoodwell shoots in but Allen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hoodwell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hoodwell shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Allen defends it nicely.
Jake Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of KJ Hoodwell.
Allen leaves Hoodwell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Allen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hoodwell is working for takedown but Allen is calmly controlling the position for now.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Allen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hoodwell momentarily.
