Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Qura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qura has chosen Alexisonfire - Young Cardinals as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Qura! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner throws an overhand right that lands on Qura's shoulder, as Qura tries to avoid the shot. Qura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turner but Turner pushes him off and we're back to square one. Turner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Turner throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nice sprawl there from Turner as Qura shoots in. Turner delivers a nice body kick. Turner lands a slapping body shot.

Qura darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Turner is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner has one foot on Qura's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Qura fails in his attempt to clinch. Turner is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Qura. Turner lands a nice looking body shot.
Qura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turner but Turner pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jason Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Qura. Qura avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Turner throws a head kick but Qura moves out of range.

Jason Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Qura has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Qura fails to land the takedown. Turner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Turner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Qura shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Turner sprawls well. Turner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Qura gets slowly back to his feet.

A punch lands to the side of Qura 's head but he takes it in his stride. Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Qura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turner avoids it really well and circles away. Turner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Turner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Qura on the side of the head. Qura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turner avoids it really well and circles away. Turner scores with a jab to the jaw. Turner moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Turner connects with the punch. Turner fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Turner throws a series of punches but Qura avoids them all with ease. Qura walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Turner lands a nice looking kick to the body. Qura takes a step back to recover. Turner digs a good hook to Qura's body.

A head kick misses from Turner. Qura on the wrong end of a nice hook. Nice defenses there by Qura. Turner cracks Qura with a right hand to the side of the head. Turner fakes the leg kick and cracks Qura in the body. Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice straight punches there by Turner. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Turner. Turner connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Qura dodges the punch combination from Turner.

Turner cracks Qura with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Turner scores with the left hand. Qura knows he should have avoided that one. Turner throws a head kick that misses. Turner throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Qura defending well as Turner loads up on a big left hand. Qura misses with a takedown attempt - Turner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jason Turner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Qura fails in his attempt to clinch.

Qura avoids the attempt from Turner to control. Qura swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Turner is now in Qura's guard. A big mistake from Qura there, giving up the dominant position! Qura is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Turner tries to free his leg and advance position but Qura is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Turner is stalling in the full guard. Qura is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Turner trying to control the position from guard on top but Qura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Turner tries to free his leg and advance position but Qura is retaining full guard. Turner wants to control from the top but Qura keeps moving. Turner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Qura swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice body punch from Turner. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Turner lands with an uppercut that bounces Qura off the cage and back into rage. Qura looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Qura wants to stand but Turner is controlling his posture from full guard. Turner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Turner trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Qura keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Turner. Turner misses with a hook. Qura ducked under it nicely. Qura has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Turner scores with a jab. Qura acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Turner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Qura momentarily.

Turner thows a left - swing and a miss! Jason Turner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Turner scores with a push kick. Qura takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Turner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Turner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
George Qura has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Turner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Qura. Jason Turner is winning the standup battle so far. Nice takedown defense from Turner. No joy for Qura on that attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Turner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Turner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
