Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephane Sessegnon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, mike eastman! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sessegnon tries to bum rush eastman with a series of wild strikes but eastman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. eastman throws a head kick that half lands.
Sessegnon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sessegnon is breathing heavily. eastman moves into full guard.
eastman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sessegnon manages to get himself to full guard.
eastman is looking to work some ground and pound but Sessegnon has wrist control. Sessegnon wants to sweep here but eastman controlling him for the moment. eastman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and eastman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sessegnon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. eastman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. eastman looking to land some kicks to the body here.

eastman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sessegnon, pushing him back against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from eastman. Sessegnon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

eastman is working for takedown but Sessegnon is calmly controlling the position for now. eastman slows down the pace here.
Sessegnon is trying to break free. Sessegnon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Sessegnon's face as he tries to break the clinch. eastman wants a takedown but no success here.
eastman is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sessegnon looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. eastman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sessegnon's efforts to push away. eastman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sessegnon takes a kick to the side of the head. Sessegnon throws a series of punches but eastman moves out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from eastman. Stephane Sessegnon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of mike eastman. Sessegnon throws a body kick the misses and eastman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sessegnon misses with a double jab
and eastman counters with a nice uppercut. Danga de danga de dang - Sessegnon scores with a four punch combination! eastman moves out of range of the body kick from Sessegnon.

and eastman counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sessegnon is trying to force a seperation but eastman has the dominant position. Sessegnon tries to break free but eastman pushes him back against the cage. Sessegnon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and eastman finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Sessegnon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sessegnon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sessegnon is looking to break free of the clinch but eastman has double underhooks. eastman has Sessegnon pressed against the cage, preventing Sessegnon from circling away and getting back to striking at range. eastman leaning his opponent against the cage. Sessegnon looks to land a left hand but eastman moved out of range nicely. Horrible takedown by eastman or perhaps it was just good defense by Sessegnon which made him look bad. Sessegnon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but mike eastman will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

He's bucked Sessegnon off and has taken his back! eastman gets his hands free as Sessegnon looks to control. eastman has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Sessegnon is defending well but eventually eastman manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Sessegnon has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
