I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to . Buddy Johnson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacques Fresco! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Fresco circles away.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Fresco keeps it at a distance. Buddy Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fresco swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson. Fresco shoots in but no luck this time. Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Johnson tries to clinch but Fresco is having none of it. Johnson gets caught flat footed, as Fresco shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fresco postures up.
Johnson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Johnson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fresco on the ground. Johnson is working hard here to advance position. Fresco works a leg free and moves into half guard. Fresco trying to control the pace. Fresco working Johnson over with strikes. Johnson looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Johnson is breathing heavily. Fresco working the head and body with strikes. Fresco controlling the action here. Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. I looks like Fresco might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Johnson won't allow Fresco to pass to mount. Fresco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Fresco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fresco's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fresco passes easily into side control. Nice work. Fresco is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Johnson is trying to escape and Fresco transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Johnson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Fresco! Very nice indeed!
