Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Angle is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mann's half guard.
Mann wants to control but Angle passes into side.

Angle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mann keeps working.
Mann tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Angle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ground and pound from Angle seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Angle scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mann to see if he's OK.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Angle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
It looks like John Mann has been cut.
Mann tries to hold on but Angle postures up.

Angle sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Mann is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Angle throws some wild stikes that Mann manages to avoid easily.
Mann wants to hold on but Angle pushes him away.
Angle throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mann because Angle loaded up on that one.

Mann is looking to improve his position but Angle isn't that keen on the idea.
Angle is landing with some decent strikes but Mann is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Angle lands a big shot there that rocks Mann but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The referee warns Mann that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Angle lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mann is in a horrible position here. Angle smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
