The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux misses with an uppercut.
Thibodeaux lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Dolly Parton has been cut.
An inside leg kick lands from Thibodeaux .
Thibodeaux defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Parton.
Parton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thibodeaux tries to avoid it but Parton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thibodeaux to the ground. Thibodeaux escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A nice leg kick lands there from Thibodeaux .
Thibodeaux doesn't manage to clinch there - Parton circles away.
Thibodeaux thumps Parton with a low kick.
Parton is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Parton misses with a takedown attempt - Thibodeaux sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dolly Parton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Parton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thibodeaux as he jumps to the side.
Thibodeaux connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Parton! He's out on his feet! Thibodeaux rushes in and drops Parton with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
