Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sir Didymus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riki Oh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Didymus comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the TerrorDome. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sir Didymus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Riki Oh! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Oh misses its intended target. Nice shot lands for Oh. Didymus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Oh on the side of the head. A combination from Oh does no damage. Didymus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Some wild striking there from Oh.
Oh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Didymus. Oh on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Oh misses with a body shot.
Oh misses the jab. Didymus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Oh defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Didymus avoids the body shot from Oh.
Oh lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Oh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Didymus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Oh's guard. Didymus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Oh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Didymus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oh swivels though and keeps the full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Oh holds on and takes a little breather. Didymus thows a big elbow that misses. Oh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Didymus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Didymus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Oh sprawls well initially but Didymus persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Didymus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Oh defending well though. Oh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Didymus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Oh keeps working. Didymus trying to control the pace. Oh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Didymus thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Didymus tries to pass the half guard into mount. Oh knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Didymus passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Oh! Didymus working Oh over with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Didymus working away from the top, dropping strikes. Oh tries to reverse the position but Didymus maintains control. Oh wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Didymus.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Didymus landing strikes from the mount. Oh blocking the ground and pound. Didymus with good strikes from the mount here! Oh taking shots to the head. Didymus with the ground and pound from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Didymus working the ground and pound effectively.
Didymus has control of Oh's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Oh regains control of the situation pretty easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Didymus with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Sir Didymus dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Oh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Didymus manages to avoid it. Oh swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Didymus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Didymus landing a few strikes. Didymus trying to control the action but Oh is working from the bottom. Didymus fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Oh managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Didymus.

That's one minute gone in the round. Didymus lands a few punches from side control. Didymus is trying to get an arm triangle but Oh is defending well. The referee asks Didymus politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Didymus prefers to stall for the moment though. Didymus trying to control the position but Oh is working away. The strikes coming from Didymus are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Didymus controlling from side mount. Didymus tries to move into full mount but can't pass Oh's legs. Didymus cracks Oh with a big right hand but Oh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Didymus is looking to take a break and control but Oh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Oh tries to improve position but can't. Didymus is chipping away with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Didymus scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Oh to see if he's OK. Didymus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Oh has escaped the position, nice work there. Didymus tries to score with some ground and pound. Oh controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Didymus thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Oh is trying to control Didymus's posture but Didymus avoids it. Oh is trying to escape the position but Didymus is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Didymus cracks Oh with a big right hand but Oh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Didymus controls the position. Oh is trying to get back to half guard. Oh gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Didymus is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Oh can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Didymus is working for a guillotine from mount but Oh frees his head quite easily.

Sir Didymus dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Didymus tries to move into range but Oh moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A big left from Oh misses. Riki Oh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oh takes a swing at Didymus's ribcage but misses. Didymus dodges the punch combination from Oh.
Didymus looks to score with a jab to the body but Oh is just out of range. Oh scores with a crisp jab that stopped Didymus in his tracks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oh dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Didymus looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Didymus takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh misses with an uppercut. Oh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oh lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Oh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Didymus defending well as Oh loads up on a big left hand. Riki Oh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Oh throws a shot from downtown. Didymus moves away and avoids it. Oh has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Oh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Oh blocks a jab. Oh throws a hook but Didymus avoids it easily. Didymus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Oh cracks Didymus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Oh misses with a two punch combination.
Oh jabs Didymus right on the nose. Didymus blinks but takes it well. Didymus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Oh throws a jab but it's blocked by Didymus. Didymus takes a swing at Oh's ribcage but misses. Oh misses with a hook to the body
and Didymus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Didymus misses with a wild body shot. Didymus dodges the punch combination from Oh.
Didymus darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Didymus scoring with strikes to the body and head. Didymus is thwarting Oh's attempts to control the position. Didymus wants to free his trapped foot but Oh is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Oh is rocked! Didymus putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Oh is still in real trouble! Can Didymus finish him? Oh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Didymus looking to ground and pound but Oh is blocking nicely. Oh seems to have recovered his senses. Didymus postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Oh looks a forlorn figure.

And that's the end of the fight! Sir Didymus showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Didymus, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
