Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winothai wants to clinch up but Lombardi keeps it at a distance.
Lombardi shoots in and bounces Winothai off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Lombardi wants to control from the top but Winothai keeps moving.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lombardi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Winothai is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Lombardi connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Winothai seems to have recovered his senses.
Lombardi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Winothai tries a head kick but it misses.
Lombardi misses with a few strikes there.
Winothai gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lombardi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lombardi keeps the fight on the outside.
Winothai is breathing heavily.
Winothai doesn't manage to clinch there - Lombardi circles away.
Winothai fails in his attempt to clinch.

Lombardi throws a series of punches but Winothai avoids them all with ease.
Lombardi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lombardi stuns Winothai with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Lombardi has cracked Winothai with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Lombardi lands another huge swinging hook and Winothai tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Winothai, before Lombardi can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Giorgio Lombardi!
