The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a double jab.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Khasm circles away quickly and effectively.
Khasm shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jackson is trying to defend but Khasm finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Khasm looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Khasm sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jackson defending well though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Khasm looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Khasm winds up and cracks Jackson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Jackson pushes Khasm off looking to stand but Khasm dives back in and keeps control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khasm connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khasm throwing shots but Jackson is blocking nicely.
Khasm takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Jackson tries to kick Khasm off but Khasm keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Khasm lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Jackson is still in real trouble! Can Khasm finish him?
Khasm seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Jackson looks gassed!
Khasm lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Jackson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Khasm jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Khasm!
