The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dinero tries to bum rush Alexander with a series of wild strikes but Alexander uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Alexander is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dinero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dinero just misses with a punch to the body.
Dinero thows a left - swing and a miss! Alexander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dinero swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dinero swats away the attempt to clinch by Alexander. Dinero misses with a wild body shot. Alexander throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Alexander keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dinero lands with a good body shot. Alexander slips a jab from Dinero. Dinero scores with a sloppy right hand. Alexander should have avoided that one. Alexander closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Alexander misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dinero tries to pull guard but Alexander holds him up against the cage and eventually Dinero drops back down to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alexander misses with a short punch on the inside. Dinero managing to block the knees to the body from Alexander.
Alexander tries to land knees in the clinch but Dinero avoids the damage to the body. Alexander swings wildly with an uppercut but Dinero uses good head movement to avoid it. Alexander pushes off an throws an elbow but Dinero leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Alexander lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Alexander misses with a body punch.
Dinero prevents a body shot from Alexander. Nice body punch from Alexander - that landed with a thud.

Alexander tries a knee to the head but Dinero blocks it.
Alexander swings wildly with an uppercut but Dinero uses good head movement to avoid it. Alexander missing with knees to the body.
Dinero tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alexander smiles and moves away.
Earl Alexander has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Dinero. Alexander tries to clinch but Dinero moves out of range. Alexander is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dinero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexander manages to avoid it. Alexander with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dinero to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Earl Alexander has been cut. Alexander doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Alexander is breathing heavily. A left lands for Dinero.
Alexander is rocked! Dinero missing with a left hand there. Alexander was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dinero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alexander tries to avoid it but Dinero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alexander to the ground. Alexander escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dinero checks a leg kick. Dinero takes a swing at Alexander's ribcage but misses. Dinero steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Alexander is out on his feet! Dinero sets himself and nearly takes Alexander's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Andrew Dinero!
