Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustov Perculov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustov Perculov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanislav Datsik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gustov Perculov! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Datsik fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Perculov tries to clinch but Datsik moves out of range. Perculov misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Datsik is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Perculov. Perculov throws a head kick that half lands.
Datsik moves into range and clinches up with Perculov. Datsik drops down looking for an ankle pick but Perculov pulls his leg out and moves away.
Perculov gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Datsik blocking the ground and pound attempt from Perculov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perculov trying to mount his opponent but Datsik defends it. Datsik might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Perculov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Perculov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Perculov is pressing down on Datsik's thigh, looking to free his foot. Datsik is holding on for now. Datsik avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Perculov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Datsik wants to get back to full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Perculov looks for the body kick but Datsik saw that one coming. Perculov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Datsik swivels and escapes. Datsik plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Datsik wants to clinch but Perculov slips to the side and Perculov counters with a head kick. That will keep Datsik thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Datsik tries to clinch and Perculov counters with an outside leg kick.
Perculov has managed to clinch.

Datsik is breathing heavily. Datsik with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Datsik just leaning against Perculov, taking a breather. Perculov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Datsik is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Stanislav Datsik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustov Perculov. Perculov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Datsik clinches up against the cage. Perculov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Datsik gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Datsik looks to clinch and Perculov counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Perculov. Datsik tries to circle away but Perculov has him pinned against the cage. Perculov manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Perculov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Datsik wants to control from the top but Perculov keeps moving. Perculov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Gustov Perculov dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Perculov closes the distance but Datsik moves to the side and Datsik counters by clinching up. Perculov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perculov is looking to clinch. Perculov shoots in for a takedown but Datsik shows good takedown defense. Datsik darts in and clinches Perculov up against the cage. Perculov tries to circle away but Datsik has him pinned against the cage. Perculov avoiding damage as Datsik throws knees to the body.
Datsik creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Perculov's defenses. Perculov taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Perculov has Datsik pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Datsik manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Datsik goes for a takedown attempt but Perculov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Perculov moves out of range of the leg kick from Datsik. Perculov throws a leg kick and Datsik counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Datsik.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perculov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Perculov looks to land a combination but Datsik avoids it well. Datsik stuffs the takedown attempt from Perculov. Perculov gets slowly back to his feet. Stanislav Datsik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustov Perculov. Datsik tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perculov paws at him with a jab and circles away. A solid leg kick lands there for Datsik.

Perculov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Datsik has him pressed against the cage. Datsik crunches a lovely knee into Perculov's ribcage. Perculov decides to pull guard. Datsik wants to stand but Perculov is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perculov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Perculov stands up out of the half guard. Perculov tries to clinch but Datsik moves away and Datsik counters by moving into the clinch. Datsik with a knee to the head.

Perculov has Datsik pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Datsik manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Perculov pulls guard successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Perculov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Datsik has managed to free his arm - good work. Datsik is not content to let Perculov control the position. Perculov stops Datsik from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Perculov stands up out of the half guard. Perculov tries for a takedown but Datsik circles away easily and Datsik counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Datsik. Perculov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Datsik fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Perculov stuffs the takedown attempt from Datsik. Datsik gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Gustov Perculov will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That will dishearten Perculov somewhat. Datsik keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stanislav Datsik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gustov Perculov. Perculov circles away from the clinch attempt and Perculov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Datsik is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Perculov is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perculov passes into half guard. Perculov tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Datsik. Perculov trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Datsik is looking for a sweep. Perculov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Perculov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Datsik does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Perculov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perculov stands up from half guard. Datsik doesn't manage to clinch there - Perculov circles away.
Perculov shoots for a takedown but Datsik saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Perculov stuffs the takedown attempt from Datsik. Datsik gets slowly back to his feet. Perculov has a takedown stuffed. Perculov wants to clinch and Datsik counters by clinching up. Datsik using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Perculov has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Datsik wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Perculov has him pressed against the cage. Perculov trying to stall but Datsik improves his position.
Perculov pulls guard effortlessly. Perculov looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Datsik is defending well. Perculov quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Datsik has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Perculov celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
