Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andreas Schmidt!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Builder throws a lazy right hand but Schmidt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Builder shoots in for a double leg but Schmidt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Builder does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bob Builder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Builder misses with a series of wild punches.
Builder pivots, looking for a leg kick but Schmidt is out of range and Builder settles back down.
Builder lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Andreas Schmidt has been cut.
Builder tries to bum rush Schmidt with a series of wild strikes but Schmidt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Schmidt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Builder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Schmidt somewhat.
Schmidt with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Builder to score with a decent uppercut.
Builder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Builder misses with an uppercut.
Builder misses with a wild combination.
Builder misses with an uppercut. Schmidt saw that one coming.

Builder drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Schmidt looking to control.
Builder postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Schmidt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Builder, into his guard.
Builder is adopting a defensive guard.

Builder looking to control.
Schmidt drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Builder dives on top into guard.
Builder trying to control but Schmidt is working from the bottom.

Builder is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Schmidt is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Builder decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Schmidt, up you get!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nice defenses there by Schmidt.
Builder scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Builder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Schmidt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Schmidt looks gassed!
Builder looks to score with a jab to the body but Schmidt is just out of range.
Builder throws a series of punches but Schmidt avoids them all with ease.
Builder throws a shot to the body.
Builder lands a left and a right that send Schmidt crashing to the mat, dazed. Builder thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Schmidt is rocked!
Builder shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Builder slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Builder lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Bob Builder!
