Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paolo Nazaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolo Halike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazaire comes to the cage accompanied by Spaceape (Burial). Nikolo Halike has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Paolo Nazaire's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazaire looks to land a combination but Halike avoids it well.
Halike scores with a nice head shot.

Nazaire shoots in and bounces Halike off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Nazaire drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Halike manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nazaire has Halike in his guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nazaire shoots in for a takedown but Halike shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Nazaire tries to score a power double leg takedown but Halike sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nazaire somewhat.

The fighters circle momentarily. Halike darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Halike ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nazaire throws a lazy right hand but Halike sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nazaire throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nazaire misses with a takedown attempt - Halike sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Nazaire tries to keep at a distance but Halike has taken the fight into the clinch.

Nazaire fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Nazaire drops down looking for an ankle pick but Halike pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nazaire is breathing heavily.
Nazaire swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Paolo Nazaire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping leg kick lands for Halike.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Halike, as that shot connected.
Nikolo Halike is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nazaire tries for a takedown but Halike sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Halike stuffs the takedown attempt from Nazaire. Nazaire gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Halike digs a right hand into Nazaire's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Nazaire's gas tank.
Nazaire is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Halike has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Nazaire clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Halike lands strikes from the back and Nazaire isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
