The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frederikson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Frederikson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Frederikson gets caught flat footed, as Trickle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Trickle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Frederikson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Trickle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Trickle drops back looking for a leg! Frederikson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Frederikson manages to kick Trickle off! Trickle jumps back into Frederikson's guard.
Frederikson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Trickle keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Frederikson's head.
Frederikson is looking to stand up but Trickle isn't so interested in that idea.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trickle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Trickle won't allow Frederikson to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Trickle scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Frederikson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Trickle looks for a takedown but Frederikson sprawls well.
Trickle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Trickle showed some decent athleticism there.
Frederikson looks gassed!
Trickle lands strikes from half guard.
Frederikson is in trouble now - Trickle has advanced to mount!
Frederikson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Frederikson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Trickle connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Trickle landing punches.
Trickle looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Frederikson covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
