Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francisco takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Valtamo punishes Francisco's body with a nice straight punch.
Valtamo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Francisco.
Francisco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Valtamo as he avoids it easily.
Valtamo scores with a one two! Francisco had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Ray Francisco has been cut.

Jari Valtamo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Francisco.
Francisco takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Valtamo stuffs the takedown attempt from Francisco. Francisco gets slowly back to his feet.
Francisco looks gassed!
Valtamo works over Francisco's head and body with a nice combination.
Francisco closes the distance and clinches up with Valtamo, looking for a takedown. Francisco pushes Valtamo against the cage but Valtamo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Valtamo lands a left and a right that send Francisco crashing to the mat, dazed. Valtamo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Valtamo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Francisco sprawling to the canvas! Francisco rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Valtamo finish him?!
Francisco is rocked!
Valtamo fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Francisco to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Francisco looks to clinch but Valtamo throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Francisco taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Jari Valtamo!
