The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aki misses with a straight left.
Aki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lemieux's waist but Lemieux gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aki off to one side.
Aki moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Aki fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Aki tries for a takedown but Lemieux sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
David Lemieux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frans Aki.
Lemieux keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lemieux looks to land a combination but Aki avoids it well.

Lemieux lands a left and a right that send Aki crashing to the mat, dazed. Lemieux thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Frans Aki has been cut.
Lemieux looks to land a left hand but Aki moved out of range nicely.

Lemieux throws a shot from downtown. Aki moves away and avoids it.

Lemieux throws the left hand but Aki avoids the punch easily.

Aki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Lemieux connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Aki to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Lemieux!
