Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Williams.
Williams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matic tries to avoid it but Williams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matic to the ground. Matic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Matic slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazuki Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick misses from Matic.
Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matic's waist but Matic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side.

Matic looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Matic is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.
Williams is pressing down on Matic's thigh, looking to free his foot. Matic is holding on for now.
Matic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Williams jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Matic is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Matic and Williams has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Matic connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple.

Well Matic has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
