Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodolpho Vasquel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pepe Chilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasquel comes to the cage accompanied by Ramstein Du Hast. Chilla has chosen The Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow (Hey Oh) as his entrance music. Rodolpho Vasquel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chilla connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Vasquel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chilla scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Chilla cracks Vasquel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Vasquel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chilla's guard.

Chilla seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vasquel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Vasquel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chilla avoids it really well and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Vasquel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Vasquel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vasquel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Chilla might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vasquel kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round but I would say that Rodolpho Vasquel will probably get the nod.

Vasquel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chilla tries to avoid it but Vasquel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chilla to the ground. Chilla escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vasquel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chilla manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vasquel has Chilla in his guard.
