Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Bregenzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jimmy James was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Bregenzer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy James! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James misses with a hook. James swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bregenzer. James fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bregenzer manages to avoid it. James scores with a leg kick.
James scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. James goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. James throws a body punch but Bregenzer moves out of range. Bregenzer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. James keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bregenzer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. James looking for submissions off his back. James actively working from the bottom here. Bregenzer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. James is trying to maintain the position but Bregenzer is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bregenzer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bregenzer working over James with some ground and pound. James looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bregenzer keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bregenzer. James is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bregenzer is aware though and is defending well. Bregenzer preventing the sweep. Bregenzer tries to free his leg and advance position but James is retaining full guard. Bregenzer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bregenzer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Bregenzer throwing strikes but missing. James can't keep his opponent in guard - Bregenzer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bregenzer misses with a head shot. James uses the momentum to regain guard. Bregenzer wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. Bregenzer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground. James is looking for a triangle but Bregenzer pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James working for a triangle but Bregenzer defends it easily.
Bregenzer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of James is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bregenzer trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bregenzer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bregenzer cracks James with a solid left hand. Bregenzer looking to sit in guard and control but James gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. James drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says James as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bregenzer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with James! Nice submission victory there!
