Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Leach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonardo The Turtle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonardo The Turtle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Leach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Leonardo The Turtle! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leach shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Turtle as he jumps to the side. Leach throws a head kick but The Turtle moves out of range.
The Turtle moves out of range of the strikes. Leach tries to score a power double leg takedown but The Turtle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leach somewhat. Leach tries to clinch but The Turtle is having none of it. Nice takedown defense from Leach. No joy for The Turtle on that attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leach wants to clinch. Leach misses with a takedown and The Turtle counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Leach's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Leach. That's going to take a lot out of him. Leach looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leach is pulling down on The Turtle's head to control his posture. The Turtle tries to free his leg and advance position but Leach is retaining full guard. The Turtle is fighting to break Leach's control of his arms but Leach is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Leach keeping moving, preventing The Turtle from controlling successfully. The Turtle is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The Turtle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Leach kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A kick lands to the mid section there for Leach. Leach fails with the takedown and The Turtle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Leach! Leach is trying desperately to improve position. The Turtle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leach. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Turtle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Leach is looking to escape. Leach tries to get back to half guard but can't. The Turtle trying to control but Leach is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The Turtle is stalling here but it's allowed Leach to get half guard.
Leach is trying to stand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Leach closes the distance looking to clinch and The Turtle counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by The Turtle. Leach looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonardo The Turtle dominated that round. That's time! Leach's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice sprawl there from Leach as The Turtle shoots in. Leach tries to grapple but his opponent circles and The Turtle counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leach won't be happy with that. Leach is not content to let The Turtle control the position. Leach wants to get back to his feet. The Turtle trying to control the action but Leach is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leach tries to get back to half guard but can't. Leach regains half guard there - taking advantage of The Turtle's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Leach won't allow The Turtle to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Leach is trying to get back to full guard. The Turtle prevents Leach from standing back up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Leach shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and The Turtle counters with a shoot takedown. Leach fights it but they end up in guard. Leach keeping moving, preventing The Turtle from controlling successfully. Leach working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. The Turtle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The Turtle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The Turtle trying to control but Leach is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leach looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Leach keeping moving, preventing The Turtle from controlling successfully. Leach is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Turtle is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leach keeping moving, preventing The Turtle from controlling successfully. Leach keeping full guard, as The Turtle tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leonardo The Turtle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Leach with a lazy takedown attempt so The Turtle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The Turtle trying to control but Leach is working from the bottom.
Despite being in the dominant position, Leonardo The Turtle just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Leach tries to land a leg kick but The Turtle saw it coming and moves away.
The Turtle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Turtle blocks the strikes from Leach.
The Turtle slows the pace down in half guard. The Turtle prevents Leach from standing back up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Turtle is looking to take a break and control but Leach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Leach wants to get back to his feet. The Turtle trying to control the action but Leach is working from the bottom.

The Turtle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Leach's guard. The Turtle is looking to take a break and control but Leach is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leach wants to improve his position but The Turtle is controlling well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Leach manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The Turtle trying to control the position from guard on top but Leach is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The Turtle postures up in Leach's guard and throws a big left but Leach blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The Turtle stopping the sweep attempt from Leach. Leach is working hard here to advance position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Leach closes the distance looking to clinch so The Turtle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that's the end of the fight! Leonardo The Turtle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got The Turtle winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
