Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Bair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bair comes to the cage accompanied by Not Afraid-Eminem. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grossman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Grossman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Grossman tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Grossman. Bair moves into the clinch successfully.
Bair is stalling here.
Bair has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Grossman is trying to keep an underhook but Bair manages to get the takedown into half guard. Bair is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Grossman is just riding it out for now. Bair eventually gives up the hold. Bair looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bair trying to control the action but Grossman is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bair is pressing down on Grossman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Grossman is holding on for now. Grossman is trying to control but can't.
Bair wants to work for an arm triangle but Grossman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Grossman tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bair shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bair jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Grossman is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Grossman and Bair has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Bair decides to stand back up. Bair is breathing heavily. Bair misses with a double jab.
Grossman throws a head kick that misses. Grossman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bair avoids the head kick by Grossman.
Grossman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Grossman throws a head kick but Bair moves out of range.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Grossman lands a head kick!
Bair scores with a sloppy right hand. Grossman should have avoided that one. Bair shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Bair putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Bair misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grossman is desperately trying to improve his position but Bair has a good base and remains in mount. Bair lands a nice shot to the head. Bair sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Grossman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bair cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bair could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bair working for a submission but Grossman is keeping him at bay. Grossman tries to hold on but Bair postures up. Grossman blocking the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bair can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Grossman is looking to escape. Grossman regains half guard. Grossman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bair. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bair thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bair has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Grossman keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bair controlling the action here. Bair not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Bair dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bair shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bair showed some decent athleticism there. Grossman wants to control but Bair is keeping busy.
Bair throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bair not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bair decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. A head kick misses from Grossman. Bair shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Grossman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bair looking to pass the guard. Bair is working Grossman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bair drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Grossman dives on top into guard. David Bair overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Grossman throwing strikes from guard but Bair blocks nicely. Bair looking to control.

Grossman looking to pass the guard. Bair is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Grossman rolls with it to try and escape but Bair cranks on the arm and Grossman is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
