Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Resial Calvacate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Rogan! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calvacate tries to clinch there but Rogan circles away.

Calvacate moves in looking to clinch but Rogan pushes him off. Rogan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Calvacate sprawls well initially but Rogan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Calvacate is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Rogan pulls his head out easily. Rogan wants to take a breather but Calvacate is having none of it. Calvacate has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rogan is working away from the top position though. Calvacate keeps control of the position for the meantime. Rogan is trying to control the action in half guard but Calvacate is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Calvacate is trying to stand up here but Rogan is controlling him well. Calvacate keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Calvacate tries to clinch but Rogan is having none of it. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Calvacate's guard. Rogan misses with a takedown attempt - Calvacate sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Calvacate is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rogan stops Calvacate from standing up. Rogan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calvacate swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Calvacate works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Calvacate is looking to clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rogan. Rogan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rogan throws an elbow but Calvacate slips to the side and avoids it well.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Rogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rogan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
