Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roma Lityagin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Maggro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maggro has chosen 4th Chamber by GZA as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lityagin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Knees to the body from Maggro.
Lityagin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Lityagin manages to break the clinch.
Maggro looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Maggro stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Lityagin to get to his feet.

Maggro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Maggro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lityagin fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Lityagin throws a sloppy strike and Maggro uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Maggro has ended up in Lityagin's guard.

Maggro wants to stand but Lityagin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Maggro is looking for a kimura but Lityagin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Maggro to get the leverage.

Maggro is taking a breather. Lityagin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Vinny Maggro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maggro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lityagin was well out of range. Poor timing from Maggro.
Lityagin shoots in for a takedown but Maggro shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Maggro stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Lityagin tries to close the distance and clinch but Maggro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Vinny Maggro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Maggro is looking to take a break and control but Lityagin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Maggro decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lityagin to his feet.

Lityagin shoots in for a takedown but Maggro shows good takedown defense.

Maggro pushes Lityagin off and gets back to his feet.
A combination from Maggro does no damage.
Maggro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lityagin's guard.

Maggro stops Lityagin from standing up.
Lityagin is working an open guard so Maggro takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Maggro looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lityagin!

Lityagin is desperately trying to improve his position but Maggro has a good base and remains in mount.
Lityagin tries to buck Maggro off but he can't manage it.
Maggro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Vinny Maggro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Maggro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
