Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Honey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barack Obama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obama has chosen Słoń&Mikser - Początek Końca as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Barack Obama is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obama darts in and clinches Honey up against the cage.
Obama pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Honey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Obama's waist but Obama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Honey off to one side.
Obama tries to clinch up.
A slapping body kick lands there for Obama.
Obama has Honey up against the cage in a clinch.
Obama tightens his grip and picks Honey up, before dumping him to the ground. Honey manages to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Obama with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Obama got a little sloppy there for a moment and Honey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Obama has managed to get both his arms back between Honey's legs - danger averted.
Honey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Obama's guard.
Obama looking for a sweep. Not yet Obama, not yet.

Honey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Honey's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Honey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Honey is stalling in the full guard.
Obama is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Honey is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Honey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Obama keeping moving, preventing Honey from controlling successfully.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jack Honey just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Honey shoots for a double leg takedown but Obama sprawls well. He's pushed Honey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Honey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Obama lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Obama has his takedown stuffed
and Honey counters with a shoot takedown. Obama fights it but they end up in guard.
Obama looks gassed!
Honey controls from within his opponent's guard.
Obama is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Honey is controlling him.
Honey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Obama's guard.

Obama is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Honey has an Americana. Obama didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Honey is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Honey hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
