Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Strom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Latka Gravas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strom comes into the arena with I Need a Hero blaring out of the sound system. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gravas slips a jab and a cross from Strom.
Gravas dodges the punch combination from Strom.
Nice defenses there by Strom.
A swing and a miss from Strom.
A big left from Strom misses.
Strom waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gravas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gravas shoots in but Strom avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nice uppercut lands for Strom. That snapped Gravas's head back.
Strom comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Gravas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strom sprawls well. Strom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gravas gets slowly back to his feet.

Gravas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Strom.

Nice straight punches there by Gravas. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gravas.

Strom tries to clinch but Gravas moves out of range.

Gravas slips a jab from Strom.
Strom throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gravas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Strom misses with a looping left.
A telegraphed right hand from Strom misses the target.

and Gravas counters with a nice double leg into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gunnar Strom dominated that round.

and Gravas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Strom's guard.

Strom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Strom falls off balance throwing a combination

and Gravas counters with a single leg into guard. Strom didn't expect that.
Strom looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Strom is looking to stand up but Gravas isn't so interested in that idea.
Gravas wants to control from the top but Strom keeps moving.

Strom is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Gravas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Strom smiles and moves away.
Gunnar Strom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Latka Gravas.

enabling Gravas to counter with a crisp jab.
Strom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gravas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Strom has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gravas wants to hold on but Strom pushes him away.
Gravas is looking to improve his position but Strom isn't that keen on the idea.
Gravas is squirming around, avoiding Strom's attempts to control the action.

Gravas is desperately trying to improve his position but Strom has a good base and remains in mount.
Strom wants to control the pace but Gravas is squirming around nicely.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Gunnar Strom just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Gravas looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Strom stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Strom wants it to stay on the feet.
Gunnar Strom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A lazy left from Strom finds it's target.
Strom throws a hook but Gravas avoids it easily.
Latka Gravas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Strom throws a hook to the side of Gravas's head but Gravas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Strom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gravas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Strom throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Latka Gravas.
I think Gravas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
