PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zlat Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George St (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zlat Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blaze did well to prevent St getting side control.

St lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blaze circles away quickly and effectively.

St tries to bum rush Blaze with a series of wild strikes but Blaze uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
St avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Blaze is looking to sinch up a triangle. St throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Blaze's body to avoid the submission. Blaze has instead reached around St's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Blaze arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Zlat Blaze!
