Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim Ma Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Walcott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Ma Cho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Walcott! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Ma Cho is trying to break free.
Ma Cho gets control of Walcott's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ma Cho will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Walcott throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ma Cho wants to get back to his feet but Walcott is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Walcott missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Walcott lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Walcott throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ma Cho works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ma Cho preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ma Cho utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Walcott throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walcott prevents Ma Cho from breaking the clinch. Walcott jumps guard but Ma Cho stands there with Walcott around his waist. Walcott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ma Cho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ma Cho lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Walcott backs up against the cage.

It looks like Joe Walcott has been cut. Walcott looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ma Cho lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Ma Cho instigates a clinch. Walcott tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ma Cho smiles and moves away.

That has opened up Joe Walcott's cut even more. Walcott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kim Ma Cho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Walcott. Good exchange - Ma Cho coming out on top. Ma Cho throws a right and a left that Walcott avoids nicely. Ma Cho digs a good body shot into Walcott's ribs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ma Cho tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Walcott counters with a single leg into guard. Ma Cho didn't expect that. Ma Cho wants to stand but Walcott is controlling the position. Ma Cho tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Walcott controls Ma Cho momentarily but Ma Cho frees himself. Ma Cho wants to stand but Walcott has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Ma Cho decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ma Cho misses with a two punch combination.

Ma Cho displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Walcott tries to close the distance and clinch but Ma Cho swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ma Cho tries for a takedown but Walcott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Walcott has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ma Cho off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Walcott looks to clinch and Ma Cho counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Walcott looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Walcott working over Ma Cho with some ground and pound. Ma Cho looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Walcott drops an elbow to the side of Ma Cho's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kim Ma Cho dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joe Walcott's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ma Cho ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ma Cho throws a series of punches but Walcott moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Walcott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ma Cho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Walcott looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ma Cho! Ma Cho regains half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walcott connects with a nice short shot to Ma Cho's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walcott lands strikes from half guard. Walcott scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ma Cho looks like he's trying to stand up.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ma Cho with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Walcott landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Walcott drops an elbow to the side of Ma Cho's head. Ground and pound from Walcott. Walcott winds up and cracks Ma Cho with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Walcott looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Walcott missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Ma Cho manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Walcott shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Walcott was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Walcott scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ma Cho?
Walcott landing strikes from the mount and Ma Cho is in trouble! Ma Cho squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Walcott lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ma Cho tries to hold on but Walcott pushes him away. Walcott prevents Ma Cho from getting the reversal. Walcott landing punches. Ma Cho slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Walcott working the head and body with strikes. Walcott takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ma Cho regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Walcott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Joe Walcott's cut. That's time! Ma Cho's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Walcott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ma Cho pinned against the cage. Ma Cho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Walcott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ma Cho tries to avoid it but Walcott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ma Cho to the ground. Ma Cho escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Walcott sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Walcott walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Walcott takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ma Cho moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ma Cho fails with the takedown
and Walcott counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

and Walcott counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Walcott. Walcott jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ma Cho walks away with a smile on his face. Walcott gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kim Ma Cho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Walcott. Walcott has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ma Cho finds it's way round the side to connect with Walcott's head. Ma Cho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walcott moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kim Ma Cho is winning the standup battle so far.

Walcott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ma Cho had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Walcott defends it easily. Walcott working some strikes from top position. Walcott landing some decent shots from guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walcott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Walcott keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ma Cho's head. Ma Cho is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Walcott is controlling him.
Ma Cho is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Walcott defends well.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kim Ma Cho. I think Ma Cho has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
