Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffe Zampietre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Booth has chosen Face the pain as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeffe Zampietre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Booth! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Booth scores with a takedown into Zampietre's guard. Booth pushing down on Zampietre's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Booth is trying to work for a kimura but Zampietre is defending well.
Booth looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Booth is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Zampietre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Booth on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Booth working the head and body with strikes. Zampietre desperately trying to maintain half guard. Booth is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Zampietre looks like he's trying to stand up.
Booth is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Booth throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Booth misses with a head shot. Zampietre uses the momentum to regain guard. Booth looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Booth looking to pass the guard. Booth drops back, looking for a kneebar! Zampietre looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Zampietre looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Zampietre! Booth tries to bench press Zampietre off him but Zampietre keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Booth is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Booth is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Booth prevents Zampietre from improving position. Booth takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Booth tries to improve position but can't. Zampietre looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Booth tries to buck Zampietre off but Zampietre is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zampietre working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Zampietre working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Booth dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Booth fails with a takedown attempt. Zampietre displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Booth. Booth fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jeffe Zampietre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Booth. Zampietre tries to close the distance and clinch up but Booth swats him away and circles back towards the center. Zampietre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Booth's waist but Booth gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zampietre off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Booth misses with a takedown and Zampietre counters with a nice kick to the body. Zampietre clinches up against the cage. Zampietre tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Booth's elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zampietre has Booth pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Booth manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Zampietre looking for a takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zampietre tries for a takedown but Booth manages to get underhooks.
Booth lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Booth is pressed up against the cage. Zampietre has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Booth down to the mat. Booth avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Booth tries for a takedown but Zampietre circles away easily and Zampietre counters by moving into the clinch. Booth breaks from the clinch.
Zampietre blocks a jab. Booth fails with the takedown. Zampietre tries to clinch there but Booth circles away.
Booth clinches up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knees to the body from Booth.
A right hook to the body lands for Zampietre.
Zampietre wants a takedown.
Booth breaks the clinch.
Booth tries to close the distance and clinch but Zampietre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Booth throws out a powerful jab. No luck for Booth with that takedown attempt. Booth swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Zampietre. Jeffe Zampietre is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Zampietre shoots in looking for a takedown. Booth tries to sprawl out of it but Zampietre keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Booth manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Zampietre takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Booth shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zampietre napping and manages to drive through into side control! Booth tries for a kimura but Zampietre is defending well. Zampietre is looking to regain half guard here but Booth keeps moving and retains side control. Booth is working to tighten is grip on Zampietre's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Zampietre has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Booth is really squeezing tight and eventually Zampietre passes out! Booth breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
