Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastien San Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Iron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sebastien San Martin! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iron slips a jab and a cross from San Martin.
Iron drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. San Martin is trying to control Iron's posture but Iron avoids it. Iron lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear San Martin down.
San Martin is looking for a sweep. San Martin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Iron has just dragged him back down to the mat. San Martin can't do much from the bottom here. Iron is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. San Martin avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Iron. Iron throws a strike aimed at the side of San Martin's head but San Martin avoids it well. The strikes coming from Iron are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Iron tries to advance to mount but San Martin denies him. Check out the look on Iron's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Iron misses with the ground and pound. San Martin is trying to control Iron's posture but Iron avoids it. Iron in side control, throwing shots but San Martin defends.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Iron misses with an attempted head punch from side control. San Martin avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Iron. The strikes coming from Iron are missing the target in this wave of attacks. San Martin takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee asks Iron politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Iron prefers to stall for the moment though. San Martin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Iron cracks San Martin with a big right hand but San Martin just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. San Martin on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Iron tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Iron has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Iron tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Iron throwing strikes but missing, from side control. San Martin prevents Iron from moving into mount. San Martin managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Iron.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. San Martin is letting Iron control him for a moment. San Martin is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Iron working the ground and pound but San Martin is defending the strikes.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. San Martin throws a sloppy head kick and Iron moves out of range easily. San Martin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fight stays on the outside here - San Martin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A swing and a miss from Iron. San Martin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Iron closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Iron lands in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Iron dominated that round. That's time! Iron's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Iron looks to land a body kick but San Martin moved away. Iron fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but San Martin avoids it really well and circles away. San Martin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Iron avoids the head kick by San Martin.
Iron does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Iron shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Iron missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Iron lands with a punch from half guard. San Martin looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iron gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Iron looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for San Martin! Iron lands a nice shot to the head. Iron can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as San Martin is looking to escape. Iron raining down shots from the mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iron lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Iron punishing his opponent with strikes. Iron working San Martin over with strikes here. Iron working the ground and pound effectively.
Iron lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Iron sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! San Martin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Paul Iron overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Iron with a couple of short strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. San Martin holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Iron tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Iron with good strikes from the mount here! Iron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Iron throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. San Martin in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Iron working away from the top, dropping strikes. Iron raining down shots from the mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. San Martin is trying to escape the mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Iron there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

San Martin really wants to buck Iron off and get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Iron throws some wild stikes that San Martin manages to avoid easily.

Paul Iron dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Iron drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. San Martin struggling a bit here. San Martin wants to get back to his feet but Iron drags him back down. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. San Martin manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Iron not landing any meaningful shots this time. San Martin won't allow Iron to pass to mount. Iron is working hard here to advance position. San Martin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Iron scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. San Martin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Iron sitting in guard, not really doing much. Iron postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Iron has gone for a leg lock! San Martin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Iron's guard. San Martin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. San Martin wants to control from the top but Iron keeps moving. San Martin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Iron kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. San Martin is looking to advance position but Iron has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iron scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Iron looking to ground and pound but San Martin is blocking nicely. San Martin wants to hold on but Iron pushes him away. Iron trying to control but San Martin is having none of it. Iron is really struggling to control San Martin but he's trying to hold on to the position. San Martin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Iron wants to control the pace but San Martin is squirming around nicely. San Martin is in a horrible position here. Iron smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. San Martin is desperately trying to improve his position but Iron has a good base and remains in mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Iron showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Iron, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
