Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuko Tsukana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Edgar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rick Ross- The Boss. Anderson Edgar has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Edgar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuko Tsukana!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar lands with a kick to the temple. Tsukana shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Tsukana lands a head shot.
Tsukana clinches with his opponent.
Tsukana tries to land knees in the clinch but Edgar avoids the damage to the body.
Tsukana escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Edgar throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
A head kick by Tsukana misses
and Edgar counters with a solid body kick.
Tsukana wants to clinch but Edgar slips to the side

Tsukana looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Edgar drives through and clinches with Tsukana against the cage.
Edgar has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tsukana uses from the top position.
Edgar manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tsukana manages to get himself to full guard.
Edgar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tsukana swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Edgar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tsukana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Edgar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Edgar moves into the clinch.

Edgar tries to land knees in the clinch but Tsukana avoids the damage to the body.
Edgar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tsukana fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Edgar counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Tsukana takes an elbow to the forehead.

Edgar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tsukana smiles and moves away.
Tsukana takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Edgar feints and then cracks Tsukana's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tsukana down.
Tsukana circles away from the clinch attempt.
Edgar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tsukana wants to clinch but Edgar slips to the side
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tsukana thumps Edgar with a low kick.
Tsukana swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tsukana throws a lazy head kick
and Edgar counters with a big head kick but Tsukana shrugs it off.
Edgar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anderson Edgar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Edgar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tsukana, pushing him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Edgar scores with a knee to the head.
Tsukana wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Edgar has him pressed against the cage.
Tsukana tries to circle away but Edgar has him pinned against the cage.
Edgar jumps guard.
Tsukana throws and elbow that misses. Edgar uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tsukana's guard. Nice move by Edgar!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Edgar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Edgar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Edgar passes into half guard.
Edgar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Edgar is working for a kimura but Tsukana is defending it quite comfortably.

Edgar uses his free foot to push down on Tsukana's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tsukana.
Edgar looking to isolate an arm here. Tsukana doesn't see it coming and as Edgar extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Edgar!
