Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eino Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacques Deupreaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacques Deupreaux told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deupreaux doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Deupreaux moves in looking to clinch but Kivi pushes him off.
A telegraphed right hand from Kivi misses the target.
Deupreaux takes one on the button.
Deupreaux misses with a wild combination.
Kivi looks to land a left hand but Deupreaux moved out of range nicely.
Deupreaux moves in looking to clinch but Kivi pushes him off.
Deupreaux fails in his attempt to clinch.

Deupreaux tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Deupreaux tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kivi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Deupreaux somewhat.

Deupreaux tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kivi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Deupreaux is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Kivi tries to buck Deupreaux off but Deupreaux is having none of it.
Deupreaux is working Kivi over with some ground and pound from side control.
Deupreaux has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Deupreaux darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Deupreaux doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kivi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A left and a right from Deupreaux both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Eino Kivi has been cut.
Deupreaux tries to clinch up
and Kivi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Deupreaux misses with a double jab
and Kivi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Deupreaux!
Kivi throws some wild stikes that Deupreaux manages to avoid easily.

Kivi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Deupreaux is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Deupreaux accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kivi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Deupreaux doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Deupreaux manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kivi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Deupreaux controls the pace.

Deupreaux stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kivi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kivi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Deupreaux!
Kivi looking to ground and pound but Deupreaux is blocking nicely.
Deupreaux wants to try and get back to his feet.
Kivi swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Deupreaux is now in Kivi's guard. A big mistake from Kivi there, giving up the dominant position!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Deupreaux tries to bench press Kivi off him but Kivi keeps the position.
Kivi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Deupreaux is pushing Kivi's head away, looking to escape. Kivi manages to hold on to the position though.
Kivi tries to move to mount but Deupreaux blocks the move with his legs.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Kivi counters with a nice uppercut.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kivi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kivi has had enough of the clinch but Deupreaux keeps him there for the moment.
Deupreaux lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kivi or not.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Deupreaux misses with a hook to the ribs.
Deupreaux breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A close second round but Jacques Deupreaux will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's time! Kivi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Deupreaux shoots in for a takedown but Kivi shows good takedown defense.

Kivi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Deupreaux throws a series of punches but Kivi moves out of range.

and Kivi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Deupreaux thinking.

and Kivi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kivi swats away the attempt to clinch by Deupreaux.
Kivi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Deupreaux takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Deupreaux will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Eino Kivi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacques Deupreaux.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eino Kivi.
I think Deupreaux has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
