Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Stigu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Lipponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stigu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sabrina, Boys. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Lipponen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipponen cracks Stigu with an open hand slap.
Stigu misses with a hook.
Stigu scores with a one two! Lipponen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Pekka Lipponen has been cut.
Lipponen connects with the punch.
It looks like Mr Stigu has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lipponen works Stigu's body with a nice hook.
Lipponen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lipponen delivers a nice body kick.
Lipponen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stigu was covering up waiting for the punch and Lipponen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lipponen pushing down on Stigu's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Stigu is breathing heavily.
Lipponen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Lipponen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Stigu is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lipponen scores with a couple of nice shots.
Lipponen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stigu knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Stigu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lipponen on the ground.
Lipponen is controlling the pace.
Lipponen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lipponen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Lipponen is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Stigu trying to control from the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lipponen thows a huge punch but Stigu dodges it nicely.
Lipponen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lipponen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stigu is trying to control but can't.
Lipponen uses his free foot to push down on Stigu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stigu.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pekka Lipponen dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lipponen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stigu loads up on a big right hand but Lipponen slips the punch.
Lipponen scores with a jab to the body.
Lipponen lands a high kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lipponen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lipponen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lipponen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lipponen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lipponen content to stall in guard here.
Lipponen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lipponen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stigu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Stigu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stigu tries to get out of the position.
Lipponen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lipponen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stigu can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lipponen controls the pace.
Lipponen is looking to work some ground and pound but Stigu has wrist control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Lipponen trying to control but Stigu is working from the bottom.
Lipponen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lipponen lands a right hook to the body.
Lipponen slips under a jab.
Lipponen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stigu.
Lipponen gets the takedown into side control.
Lipponen is working to tighten is grip on Stigu's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Stigu has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lipponen is really squeezing tight and eventually Stigu passes out! Lipponen breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
