Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandi Montague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Schweinsteiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schweinsteiger shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Schweinsteiger showed some decent athleticism there.
Montague is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Schweinsteiger throwing shots but Montague is blocking nicely.
Schweinsteiger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Montague does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Schweinsteiger rushes Montague and presses him up against the cage.

Montague throws and elbow that misses. Schweinsteiger uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Montague's guard. Nice move by Schweinsteiger!

Schweinsteiger scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Montague is looking for a way out.
I would not like to be Montague right now.
Schweinsteiger lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Schweinsteiger.
Schweinsteiger controlling the position well here. Montague rolled but Schweinsteiger kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Schweinsteiger is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Montague with him. Montague is trying to defend but Schweinsteiger has an arm under the chin now! Montague grimaces and is forced to tap out!
