The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sphinx is defended easily by Blaze.
Nice takedown defense from Blaze. No joy for Sphinx on that attempt.
Blaze tries to clinch but Sphinx moves out of range.
Sphinx fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nino Blaze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taylor Sphinx.
Nice sprawl there from Blaze as Sphinx shoots in.
Sphinx looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blaze is fending him off so far but Sphinx persists. Nope, Blaze circles away and we're back to standing.
Blaze lands a slapping body shot.
Sphinx looks gassed!

Blaze throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blaze cracks Sphinx with a right hand to the side of the head.
Blaze lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Sphinx is looking to close the distance but Blaze sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Sphinx crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Sphinx is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
