Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Raid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kingdom Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Max Raid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kingdom Jackson! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raid fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jackson takes a swing at Raid's ribcage but misses. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Raid moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jackson fails with a takedown attempt. Raid lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Raid lands a high kick!
It looks like Kingdom Jackson has been cut. Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Raid. Jackson avoids the head kick by Raid.
Raid on the wrong end of a nice hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson misses with a double jab.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Raid avoids them all with ease. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Raid circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson fails with the takedown and Raid decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. Jackson looks gassed! Raid tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard. Jackson wants to stand but Raid is controlling the position. Raid wants to get up but he can't break Jackson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Raid has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Raid passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raid missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jackson pushes Raid off looking to stand but Raid dives back in and keeps control.
Jackson is staying active underneath Raid, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Raid is looking to clinch. No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jackson scores with a nice strike. Raid shoots in but no luck this time. Jackson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Raid counters with a nice leg kick. Raid closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Raid lands in his opponent's guard. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Raid is controlling him. Raid wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raid is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackson has wrist control. Jackson is looking to stand up but Raid isn't so interested in that idea. Raid stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Raid is controlling him. Raid's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jackson wants to stand but Raid is controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jackson tries for a takedown but Raid circles away easily and Raid decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. Max Raid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kingdom Jackson. Jackson wants to stand but Raid is controlling the position.

Raid bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Raid is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Raid is really struggling to control Jackson but he's trying to hold on to the position. Jackson is trying to get back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raid lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jackson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jackson stuffs the takedown. Raid showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jackson throws a right and a left that Raid avoids nicely. Raid uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Raid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Raid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jackson with a hook. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Raid counters with a nice double leg into guard. Raid showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jackson wants to stand but Raid is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Raid from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Raid prevents Jackson from getting back to his feet. Raid trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jackson wants to stand but Raid is controlling the position.

Jackson is pressing down on Raid's thigh, looking to free his foot. Raid is holding on for now. Jackson is working for a kimura but Raid is defending it quite comfortably.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Raid working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Max Raid overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackson wants to get back to his feet. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Raid lands a nice short elbow. Raid is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position. Jackson is not content to let Raid control the position. Raid thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Raid missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt and Raid counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Raid throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Raid from controlling successfully. Raidis looking to pass into half guard but Jackson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jackson is in guard. Raid trying to control the position here. Raid is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raid swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson pushes down on Raid's leg and manages to get into half guard. Raid is defending against the submission attempts here by Jackson.

Jackson seems to be working for a kimura but Raid defends the submission attempt. Raid is controlling Jackson's trapped leg to prevent Jackson from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raid makes his way to full guard, as Jackson worked for a kimura.
Jackson throws a strike but Raid rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Raid gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Raid manages to avoid it. Raid scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jackson is pushing Raid's head away, looking to escape. Raid manages to hold on to the position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raid wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well. Kingdom Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Raid has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Raid slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Jackson works Raid's body with a nice hook. Jackson lunges at Raid with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Raid's hand. Raid takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson misses with a double jab
and Raid counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jackson's guard now.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Raid showed his dominance in that final round. Well Raid has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
