Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Glenardo Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wang is working for a submission of some sort.
Wang wants to stand up but Gonzalez has a hold of him and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wang sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wang misses with a head shot. Gonzalez uses the momentum to regain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonzalez keeping moving, preventing Wang from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wang is fighting to break Gonzalez's control of his arms but Gonzalez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Wang trying to control but Gonzalez is working from the bottom.
Gonzalez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wang is trying to land a reversal but Gonzalez doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle. Gonzalez is tightening it up though! This could be trouble for Wang! Wang trying desperately to escape but he's gone limp! He's out! Wooooorld class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Gonzalez!
