Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pero Albatros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pero Albatros! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russell Lynn! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Albatros shoots in for a double leg but Lynn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Albatros tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Albatros looks for a takedown but Lynn sprawls well. Albatros shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pero Albatros. That's going to take a lot out of him. Albatros fails with an attempt to clinch.
Albatros tries to clinch but Lynn moves out of range. Pero Albatros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Albatros tries to clinch but Lynn is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Albatros plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Albatros scores with a push kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Albatros tries to clinch up.

Lynn scores with a nice hook to the head. Lynn misses with a short punch on the inside. Lynn swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Albatros looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Albatros has a closed guard, preventing Lynn from standing up. Albatros throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Lynn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Albatros is proving hard to escape from. Lynn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. I looks like Lynn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Albatros wants to sweep here but Lynn controlling him for the moment. Albatros is breathing heavily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lynn avoids the head kick by Albatros.
Lynn closes the distance and pushes Albatros back into the cage. Lynn scores with a shoulder strike. Lynn is leaning against Albatros and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Albatros manages to break the clinch.
Albatros tries for a takedown but Lynn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Albatros will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lynn lands with a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lynn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Albatros as he avoids it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lynn. Lynn darts in and clinches Albatros up against the cage. Lynn lands a left hand that snaps the head of Albatros backwards. Albatros wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Lynn taking a breather. Lynn lands a shot to the body. A right hook to the body lands for Lynn.

Pero Albatros dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lynn shoots for a double leg takedown but Albatros sprawls well. He's pushed Lynn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lynn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Albatros moves away. Albatros fails with a takedown attempt. Albatros closes the distance looking to clinch and Lynn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Albatros misses with a takedown and Lynn counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynn wants to stand but Albatros is controlling his posture from full guard. Albatros can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lynn controls the pace. Lynn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Albatros. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Albatros has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lynn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lynn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lynn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lynn wants to pass the guard but Albatros is keeping the position. Lynn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Albatros trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynn tries to close the distance and clinch but Albatros swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lynn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Albatros stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Albatros is defended easily by Lynn. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pero Albatros. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lynn closes the distance and clinches up with Albatros, looking for a takedown. Lynn pushes Albatros against the cage but Albatros circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lynn shoots in for a double leg but Albatros sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Albatros tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lynn counters with a takedown into side control. Albatros seems a little lost for a moment, as Lynn dominates the positioning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Russell Lynn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Albatros's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Despite being in the dominant position, Russell Lynn just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Albatros lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lynn at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Albatros has his takedown stuffed and Lynn counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Albatros misses with a takedown attempt and Lynn moves into the clinch. Lynn lands a shoulder strike. Albatros wants to break free but Lynn has control.

Albatros is looking to break free of the clinch but Lynn has double underhooks. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lynn creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Albatros is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lynn can't get the takedown.
Lynn lands with a left to the head. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Lynn working aggressively here.

Nice body punch from Lynn. Lynn lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Lynn lands a body punch. Lynn cracks Albatros with a nice body shot. Lynn softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Albatros blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Albatros gets control of Lynn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Albatros will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Russell Lynn has got the better of the ground game so far. Albatros controls Lynn momentarily but Lynn frees himself. Lynn looking to sit in guard and control but Albatros gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! Russell Lynn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lynn has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
