Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Osur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masashi Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Osur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masashi Takeda! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osur darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Takeda is trying to control but can't.
Osur postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Takeda to stand up. Osur decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Osur wants to pass the guard but Takeda is defending well. Osur wants to work for an arm triangle but Takeda is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Osur looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Takeda keeping control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeda regains full guard. Nicely done. Osur seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Takeda keeping moving, preventing Osur from controlling successfully. Takeda has his foot on Osur's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Osur works his way back into a safe position though. Osur slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Osur drops back looking for a leg! Takeda is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Takeda manages to kick Osur off! Osur jumps back into Takeda's guard. Osur is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Osur has gone for a leg lock! Takeda slips out almost immediately though and dives into Osur's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Osur keeping moving, preventing Takeda from controlling successfully. Takeda controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Takeda wants to control from the top but Osur keeps moving. Osur looking to control.
Takeda pushes down on Osur's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osur looking for submissions off his back. Osur kicks Takeda off and gets back to his feet. Osur fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Takeda misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Takeda shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Osur's guard. Osur wants to hit a switch here but Takeda passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Osur there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Takeda trying to control but Osur is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Osur tries to lock up and control but Takeda gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Osur flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Takeda with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Osur tries to get back to half guard but can't. A nice elbow there by Takeda. Osur can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Shinji Osur will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Takeda looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Osur is trying to get back to full guard. Osur looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Takeda trying to control from half guard but Osur is working away. Takeda throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Takeda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Osur defends it well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Takeda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Osur does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Osur throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Takeda prevents Osur from improving his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Osur doesn't succeed with the takedown and Takeda counters by moving into the clinch. Takeda is working for takedown but Osur is calmly controlling the position for now. Osur turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Osur manages to end up in side control. Osur wants to control but Takeda is keeping him busy. Takeda is looking to reverse the position. Osur is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Takeda is trying to escape and Osur transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Takeda is forced to tap! Nice work there by Osur! Very nice indeed!
