Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Rut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nando wants to clinch.
Nando closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rut circles away.
Rut will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nando shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rut manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Nando counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rut's guard now.
Rut is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Rut might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nando kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Nando has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rut is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Nando's half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nando is doing well to control the position and prevent Rut from advancing to side control.
Nando has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rut is working away from the top position though.

Nando is looking for a sweep. Rut is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rut wants to take a breather but Nando is having none of it.

Nando really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nando has left one of his arms exposed and Rut doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Nando screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
