Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Nappa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunner Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nappa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is battery. Simpson has chosen Forgotten as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nappa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Simpson has his foot on Nappa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nappa works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Simpson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Simpson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
