Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josh Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yapa Bamboel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bamboel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Taylor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bamboel stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Taylor with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bamboel counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Taylor's guard now.
Taylor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bamboel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bamboel tries to stand but Taylor is controlling from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bamboel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Taylor with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Taylor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bamboel wants to pass the guard but Taylor is defending well.
Bamboel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Taylor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bamboel wants to clinch up but Taylor keeps it at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bamboel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Taylor manages to get himself to full guard.
Bamboel is looking to stand up but Taylor won't let him.

Bamboel lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Bamboel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Taylor controls Bamboel momentarily but Bamboel frees himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bamboel wants to pass the guard but Taylor is keeping the position.
Bamboel wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bamboel fails with a takedown attempt.

Bamboel pulls Taylor into guard.
Bamboel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bamboel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bamboel jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Taylor is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Taylor and Bamboel has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Bamboel taking a break here but Taylor is having none of it and regains half guard.
Bamboel moves into full mount! Taylor won't be happy about that!
Taylor tries to reverse the position but Bamboel maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Josh Taylor will probably get the nod.
That's time! Taylor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Bamboel shoots in looking for a takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl out of it but Bamboel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taylor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Taylor gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bamboel to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bamboel wants to pass the guard but Taylor is keeping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bamboel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bamboel chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bamboel stands and steps away. Taylor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bamboel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bamboel decides to stand up, so the ref orders Taylor to his feet.
Bamboel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bamboel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bamboel is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Taylor is surviving well by controlling Bamboel's body position as best he can.
Taylor tries to reverse the position but Bamboel maintains control.
And that's the end of the fight!
Yapa Bamboel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bamboel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
